How We Receive Forgiveness

We’re always wondering “what does God think about that”, “What does He think about me”. Acts 10:43 “All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” * Why would we not want to do what Jesus told us to do concerning forgiving others? * What about forgiving others for wrongs done to you? How do you forgive them when you don’t feel it in your hear?

Your Sins are Forgiven

Forgiveness is the number one asked question on our broadcast and through email. What’s the deal with forgiveness. Bob Christopher shares what it meant to him to discover the reality of God’s forgiveness. Colossians 2:13 “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ…” * What are Christians to do with their sins if 1 John 1:9 is not for us? * I was born-again a few years ago, but now I struggle with thought from the past that convict me. Why is that? * How can you reconcile yourself to someone who is dead? * Sometimes we think we’ve forgiven and we haven’t.  * Could you pray for a friend of mine?

God’s Favorite Place on Earth

We welcome @FrankViola to the program to talk about his new book, “God’s Favorite Place on Earth”. It is a retelling of Jesus’ many visits to Bethany and a relaying of the message it holds for us today. Frank Viola presents a beautifully crafted narrative from the viewpoint of Lazarus, one of the people who lived in Bethany with his two sisters. This incomparable story not only brings the Gospel narratives to life, but it addresses the struggle against doubt, discouragement, fear, guilt, rejection, and spiritual apathy that challenges countless Christians today. In profoundly moving prose, God’s Favorite Place on Earth will captivate your heart with its beauty, charm, and depth. In this book you will discover how to live as a “Bethany” in our world today, being set free to love and follow Jesus like never before. If God is for Us…

Is it fear of the unknown? Are you holding on to guilt from the past? Many times it’s difficult to trust what we don’t know. God wants us to overcome those issues that keep us from entering into the love of God. Romans 8:31-39 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?… I am convinced that [nothing] can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. * Is it true that some of the Corinthians were killed for taking the Lord’s Supper in an unworthy manner? * I haven’t been able to give up smoking. Is it wrong to use nicotine lozenges to help me? * I know salvation is by grace, but if I tell God I don’t need Him and I still sin, will I go to Heaven? * I was a violent man in my youth and have been kicked out of church because of my past. If God forgives me, why can’t others?

He Was Raised So We Could be Raised

There is no more important event in human history then the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” * What is Satan’s knowledge of Scriptures and do the demons also know Scripture? * For years I was taught about the cross of Christ, but wasn’t taught much about the resurrection. We get so locked into behavior, we miss His life in us. * How do we apply Mark 16:16 “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” * I was married and recently got a divorce. Can I remarry?

It’s Only Logical

Join us as Richard Peifer shares the truths found in Romans 12. Not all members of the body of Christ have the same function. God is the one who decides who needs to be where. We have the privilege of trusting God to know how and when to manifest those gifts in us. As Christians, we are called to love one another, as well as to be servants to the world. Instead of revenge, pride and arrogance, we learn to react with humility, live in harmony and bless those who persecute us. Do not be overcome with cowardice, but overcome cowardice with benevolence.

What’s New About You?

What’s new about the Christian life? John 14:16-17 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever — the Spirit of truth.” Whatever you’re going through right now, the Holy Spirit is right there with you, giving you new desires… His desires. * I feel no matter how hard I try I cannot please God and fall short of his righteousness. I am losing my joy and fire that I used to have… how do I get the desire back? * How do I tactfully approach a pastor who believes we’re still under the tithe? * What is the unpardonable sin? Can a believer commit the unpardonable sin? * I want to hear more about the Gospel. * How do you know the Holy Spirit is asking you to do something?
